3. I’ve been recently writing a news story for The Whitworthian’s March 3 print issue regarding the economy’s impact on internships. Needless to say, the majority of college unpaid internships are most likely illegal, according to the Fair Labor Standards Act.

5. Former Washington state Gov. Gary Locke was recently named commerce secretary.
